WHEAT AND FLOUR.
LONDON, 13th October.
Wheat cargoes are, in good demand. The price is occasionally higher. One shipment of 7500 tons by steamer (January-February), 50s.
Parcels opened at 6d to 9d advance,, and closed below the best, but good trade was done. *
Spot trade is active. Flour is in moderate demand. Barley is firm, with fair inquiry for shipment.
Oats are firm, and tending upwards. Sugar, granulated, 50s 6d.
