DUNEDIN BAND CONTEST

Tha Dunedin Brass Band Contest will be held from 19th to 24th February, 1923, and everything points to its being one. of the largest contests held in the Do-, minion.- -Over £1200 has been offered in prize money. The. A grade contest consists bf two test selections, and £580 is to be,, distributed in prize money. The B grade play one test and one own choice selection, and £270 will be distributed in prize money. A special contest, open to A and B grade bands, own choice selection, is also being held, and £85 in prize money i 8 offered. For the Quickstep £160 will he distributed in prize money. The contest will include the usual solo competitions, for which the prizes will be specially designed^ gold and silver medals. Entries for the contest will close on Ist November, _ 1922.
