THE M.C.C. TOUR
TARANAKI CRICKETERS IN-
DIGNANT,
(BX TJLHQRAPE.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.) *
NEW PLYMOUTH, 13th October.
The' resentment of the North Taranaki cricketers, at the refusal of the Cricket Council to fix a match, for Maclaren'a team at New Plymouth, was expressed at a meeting of the association to-night. It was pointed out that a one-day match could be arranged by the visitors travelling from Auckland to Wanganui, via New Plymouth, the local association guaranteeing the expenses and undertaking to motor the visitors from here to Wanganui in ample time for the fixture there.
