INDUSTRIAL ASSOCIATION
A meeting of the ■■ Wellington Industrial Association was held yesterday afternoon. Mr. L. T. Watkins presided, and there were also present: Messrs. T. Munt, E. Bull, F. W. Vosseller, P. D. Barcham, D. Taylor, E. J. Gilberd, H. Mainland, and W. M'Lay.
The chairman said a meeting had been held to consider the British Empire Exhibition, and the association was represented on the Wellington Committee.
Mr. H. F. Allen, who recently resigned the. secretaryship, made his lu-st appearance- in that office. The association decided to appoint Mr. E. T. M. Edmunds 'to the position of secretary, on the recommendation of a sub-commit-tee which went into the matter of filling the vacancy.
