SISTINE CHOIR SOLOISTS.

DIXIELAND.

The box plans for four evening and one matinee concerts in connection wi,th ■ the Sistine Choir Soloists season are on view at The Bristol, 'where intending patrons are advised to book if they would desire to avoid aJiy inconvenience at the doors., The season, opens at the Town Hall to-morrow night, and a full house is confidently anticipated. Much has been said and written abroad concerning the merits of this choir, and the following cutting from an Auckland critique appears to confirm the report that the Sistine Choir Soloists live up to their reputation:—"There has been no artistic success so instant and sustained as ■that of the nine remarkable vocalists ""and the maestra, Emilio Ciasolari, of the Sistine Choir. As soloists or a chorusthese gentlemen give us flawlessly the incomparable beauties of the deathless library of the earth's greatest composers. Auckland peopl© have worshipped at the shrine, have loaded them with presents and with compliments. The choruses are almost unbelievably brilliant. They are revelations in concerted singing, but al-! ways the people must have 'The Soldiers' Chorus,' from 'Faust,' and the familiar 'Funjculi-Funicula.' "

This popular weekly dance will take place to-morrow evening in the Sydney Street Hall. Tutschka's Jazz Band will play, and new lighting effects will be introduced by the management.
