QUEEN'S THEATRE.
The sea naturally plays a very great part in the Stoll screen version of Ethel M. Dell's popular story, "The Tidal Wave," which will commence at the Queen's Theatre to-day. Sinclair Hill, tha producer, was fortunate in that, as a reward for his patience and diligence, ho hit upon the right location and the right moment for his most dramatic scenes, for no sooner had he really set to work than a summer storm, the one thing he needed, came up out of the blue to provide him with the most turbulent seas one could desire. Neither the heroine, Poppy Wyndham, nor the leading man, Pardoe Woodman, escaped unhurt. "Under Oath," a Selznick production, starring Elaine Hammeratein, is the supporting feature. Additional items include the latest Gazette, comedy, and scenic, with delightful music by the Queen's Orchestra, under the direction of Mr. A. H. Jeromo. The serial "With Stanley in Africa " will be screened only at the matinees on and after Friday next. The box plan is at the theatre.
