WOOL SALES.
The Department, of Agriculture has received the following cablegram, dated 11th October," from the High Commissioner for New &saland, London:—"Wool: Sales opened yesterday with large attendance of Home and Continental buyer. Competition brisk, and practically all offering sold. Greasy merino poorly represented, but may be quoted 5 per cent, dearer., Fine crossbred and medium crossbred jrnrisy,' 10 per cent., coarse crossbred, 5 per cent, dearer. Scoured and slipe unchanged." a
