MOTOR-CAR'S SOMERSAULT

Mr. V. Pemberton, when taking a party in his motor-car to the Lower Hutt Railway Station after an entertainment in the new Taita Hall last night, had the misfortune to miss a turning in the Main road near Park avenue. His car struck the kerb, and turned a complete somersault, landing down again on its. wheels. The passengers had' a lucky escape, none being injured. The hood was up, and saved the occupants when the car turned over. The car was badly damaged.
