PARAMOUNT AND ARTCRAFT.
The new programme to be screened, at tho Paramount and Arteraft Theatres to-day will be headed by "The,Yellow Stain," a William Fox production, with John Gilbert playing in the lead. The first climax in the story is arrived at when a young lawyer in a wayback town throws a bully, who has overawedl (the townspeople for years, from his office. He is warned that the bully has great power and will finish by ejecting him. from the town. Nothing dannted, the young lawver goes on until he secures the 'defeat of the tjTant and his corrupt following. There is" a delightful love interest throughout the story. The second feature, "Lights of the Desert," stars the popular Shirley Mason. The supporting 1 films are of excellent variety, and the music at both theatres has been specially selected for the occasion.
