(Received 6th October, 1 p.ml) j CONSTANTINOPLE, sth Oct. A French communique from the Mudania Conference says that Ismet Pasha has raised fairly categorical objections to certain points. The Allied generals are examining theae. There is a common wish to arrive st a settlement, keeping the Turkish interests especially in view and endeavouring to reconcile them with the minimum indispensable guarantees. The Allied generals have also conferred with the Greek delegates.

It is hoped to reach' a final settlement to-morrow. .
