SYDNEY, This Day. Sir George Fuller refused the request of a deputation of Assembly members of both parties thai th,e salaries of country members should be increased from £600 per annum to £875. The deputation pointed out that more than half the Assembly were favourable, and they sought permiseion to promote a Private Member's Bill. Sir George Fuller replied that if it was passed he would instruct the Colonial Treasurer not to sign.' the cheques. [
