DELHI, 16th September.
The Afghan consuls to Park and Berlin have passed through Lahore. The Consul to Berlin gave interesting details during the short time available. He said: "Afghanistan is making great headway in trade and education, and some thousands of 'new schoola /have been opened. British, Kalian, .Russian, Persian, Turkish, Bokharan, and Chinese embassies have already arrived 'at Kabul, and the French and German are expected directly. He explained that the journey to Kabul is not difficult nowadays, but railways aije not yet commenced. Good crowds welcomed the consuls at the Lahore station.! , ■
