METROPOLITAN SHOW
- The first three days o£ November have been set apart, for the thirty-seventh of the Manawatu and West Coast Agricultural and Pastoral Association's spring shows. Little qj.n really be said that, is not already known of this event, which takes place annually on the Palmerston. North Show Grounds. These grounds hay© thie /year been further enlarged by the inclusion of some'six or seven acres, which will give more room, especially for the judjiingr of horses and cattle. The committee finding the classes for romneys in natural condition Were such a success, has this year added classes for th© southdowns. The Manawatu..Kennel Olub holds its annual exhibition in one of the main buildings, and this year it is to be an allehampionship show. Intending dosr exhibitors should note that entries close on 7th October. In the photography section: ■there are classes for amateurs ai well as the open classes. Dates for the closing of entries are advertised. ,
