SAN FRANCISCO, 28th August: The crew of the schooner William H. Smith, which took 123 daye to come from the Solomons,, allege that the food shipped at Sydney was not fit far consumption. They ate seabirds and sharks) and copra, mixed with flour! Finally the auxiliary schooner Annie Johnson relieved' the' becalmed and starving 'voyagers in mid^ocean.
