Yorkshire, 293 (Snfcliffe 81, Rhodes 106) beat Hampshire, 272 and 44. Kilner took six wickets for 13 runs; Waddington four fqr 24. Lancashire. 349 for six wickets (declared) grew with Essex, 219 for seven wickets, Middlesex, '456, drew with Kent,' 293 and 38, for one wk-ket.
