LONDON, 25th August. Although the. Australian delegates*to the Leagne of Nations Assembly will Be as previously announced,' it is not improbable ttiat some changes will be made-, especially as there is a possibility of the Nauru Island1 mandate being under review at the forthcoming assembly. In this matter, New Zealand will have the awiatanee of her Attorney-General to deaf with < the legal side of the question, and therefore it is likely that Judge Rich, 'who is- at present travelling on the Continent, may, if available, strengthen the. Australian delegation. There is also a likelihood1 tftat the interests of women. may be specially represented on the Australian delegation. Sir James Allen i» going to Geneva on the 29th August to attend the Financial Commission, which precedes the plenary session. The other delegates, including Sir frauds Bell and Sir Arthur Maitfcmd, whose offer to assist the New Zealanders was accepted by the Hon W. F. M*my, will follow later.
