THE KING'S THEATRE
In "Pearls and Savages," a film of wild and adventurous eacploite, now being screened at the King's Theatre, words quite inadequately describe the tropical luxuriance and the pictures of coral--girt islands of the Pacific shown. The audience is taken first to the Great, Barrier Reef, an amazing garden of coral and- then aboard a small lugger visits the islets of palms and dreams that litter Torres Straits, From Thursday Island, a visit is paid to Papua, where some amazing scenes have been secured. During the screening of "Pearls and ' Savages" Captain Frank Pearson lectures in delightful breezy manner, and tells many humorous <episodes of the adventurous journey. "Pearls and Savages" will be screened1 again this evening.
