Championship haying defeated Niles (America), and Borotra (Prance) in the semi-^ final, 6-1, 7-5, 6-0. - \ The Australians won the first, second,1, and third--games,, and Niles and Bqrotra the fourth. The. Australians took the fifth, sixth, and seventh.. They were playing .finished tennis, taking game after game with ease, won the first gama in-the second: set after deuce,, and the Australians won the second with the loss of one stroke, and the "third to love. Niles and Borp-. tra were very unsteady, and Patterson's speed was terrific.
