A COAL MINERS' STRIKE
THE TROUBLE AT NGAKAWAU
Negotiations tor a settlement of the ' strike at the Ngakawnu coal mine on the West Coast, which resulted from the dis missal of an engine drner, are still in progress There is considered to bo some chance of settlement, and Mr P O'Rourke, secretary of the Mineis'*Fede ration, is proceeding to the Westy Coast to day in order to submit ceitain pro posals to the/owners of the mine
