This afternoon the ' House will be occupied with formal business, and this evening members will debate Sir John Salmond's report on the' Washington Conference The Prime Minister >will open the discussion, and will probably | have something very interesting to say regarding' New Zealand's policy as affected by the' Conference THE BREACH OF PRIVILEGE The, House of Representatives having decided that Mr. J M'Combs, member I for Lyttelton, has been x guilty of a breach of privilege, it now remains for | the House to say what 'further action shall be taken -, It does not necessarily I follow that there will be further action, as it is open for the House to consider I whether the ventilation of the subject' in the debate and the expressions of I opinion by members, have, or have not, ' achieved the end in view in safeguardIng the privileges of .members
