GRAND SUNDAY CONCERT.

The Artillery Band, which is notedfor the excellence of its music, will give a concert at His, Majesty's Theatre next Sunday .evening. An attractive . programme has, been prepared. Miss Mabelle Esquilant, a highly cultured contralto, will sing "Harbour Night's Song," etc.; Mr. Percy Martin, lyric tenor, will sing "My Dreams," etc.; and Mr. E. R.F. Hewitt, baritone, will sine "Clothes-props." The band .items include a tuneful selection from Puccini's charming opera, "Sappho," which will be the first performance in Wellington of a Collection from this clever composition, arid as tho'conductor is conversant with the opera, an intelligent interpretation may be expected.
