'A 1 remarkable case of tho patching up of a shattered body is reported from Bsreslau. A youth, who fell from the top of a house and fractured his skull and broke practically all his ribs, was put in hospital where he was treated fosr four years. Finally tho surgeons inserted a metal plate in his skull, and replaced the broken bones with gold and ffe_mi_i rib. The youth^ t : two years later, left the hospital, and is now working in a factory.
