MOASCAR CUP,
An afternoon of college footbull should prove a big attraction at Athletic Park on Wedneeday afternoon. Tho principal match will be between the first fifteens of St Patrick. College and Scots College in the Moascar Cup competition. Both colleges have been doing well in their respective ' grades this season —St. Patrick's in the, thii;d, and Scots in tho intermediate —and their meeting on Wednesday .jshould produce some fine football of tho fast, open order, which is I usually a. feature of college play. Scots [College has not yet beon beaten in their I grade, and it is expected that on. this occasion they will extend St. Patrick's Colt lego even more than was the case last season. The curtain-raisers will be proI vided by college teams. . Season tickets will be available on Wednesday, but patrons are notified that there will bo no reserved seats after 3 p.m. Additional results of the Hutt Club's matches on Saturday afternoon are as follow: 'Third, defeated Marist, 9-0; Sixth, lost to Wellington College B, 3-18. ' In the Junior match, Johnfionville v. ; Hutt, the score was 6-5 in favour of Johnsonville. -For Hutt, Griereon converted Uie try soored by M'DougalJ.
The final performances of "Pinnochio tlie' Puppet" and "Cinderella the Doll" were given at the Grand Opera House on Saturday evening, before a crowded house.
