The last three sets were marked by dramatic changes, and wero watched with breathless interest. Anderson's- play was a mixture of early indifference and later brilliance, while Lycett, in the concluding stages, worked as one inspired. Apart from a weak service, Wood's cleanness overhead was a tower of strength. In the final of the ladies' doubles, Mile. Lenglen and Miss Ryan beat Mies M'Kane and Miss.Stocks, 6-0, 6-4. ' In the mixed doubles, O'Hara Wood and Mile. Lenglen defeated Lycett and Miss Ryan, 6-4, 6-3. In th'o final or the All-England Pkto, Norton, beat Wertheiro, 6-2, 6.2.
