Instances wero cited by Mr. Wilson to show that tremendous sayings woro promptly effected, and were still bcinj effected" by those cities that had adopted tho city manager plau. He appealed to the ■ Eistevn Suburbs League to go into the matter carefully and assist in bringing about the' desired improvement. Tho city manager scheme, he declared, was financially sound, and one good man could control'the oity/s management ihoro efficiently. A hearty- vote of thanks, was accorded the speaker.
