Three hockey clubs—Y^M.C.A.. Kamblers, andWakatu —were suspended la«t evening at a meeting of the Management Committee of the Wellington Hockey. Association. This action was taken in view- of the fact that the. clnbs had failed to pay fees duo lo the association, and should the sums not be paid by Saturday next teams representing the suspended clubs will not be allowed to take the field. -I Messrs. C. \Y. Price and Co., auctioncora, will sell furniture on thn premises, 100, Clyde-quay, to-morrow morning, at 10 o'clock. On Friday morning-, at 10 o'clock, they will sell furniture at 92, Abel Smith-street. Messrs. E. Johnston and Co. will sell unclaimed carpo in their mart, at 10.30 to-morrow, and, at 12 o'clock, they will sell a. property. Messrs. A. It Carver and Co. will sell pianos; household furuitirre and effects in tlieir rooms, 137, ljambtonqu*y, to-mor-row, at 2 D.m.
