The fourteenth-annual report and bal-ance-sheet state that ten new' members were elected, 'four resigned, and two died,. leaving, the membership1 at fifty. ;The> contests for the Khandallali-JohnsonviHe Challenge Cup were very enjoyable, and, ended in a 1 close finish, the winners,being: the Johnsonville Club. ; The top dress-, ing of. the: green .has been, completed,, thanks to the .assistance, of a few .erier-', getic members;.: In view •; of ■ their, 'past valuable.services, Messrs. E. Cowles and K-.' B. ■ Vincent have' been elected life membei-s of., the club. , Thanks ? are due ' to the members of th* Ladies' ■ Croquet dub for. a donation of £5: towards the improvement' of the green, also to Mr. G. Living: for presenting, the Goss Cup for the singles competition. .' V The president, in moving the' adoption of the report, referred to the deaths of two prominent members ..of the club, Messrs.'
