TAUMARUNQI, This Day. A farmer named E. M'Govern was seriouisly injured at Matiero' tins' m<l:ning on the arrival of the Public Works train. He was walking on the line with an umbrella up when he was knocked down. His right leg was almost severed at the knee, and his left leg was injured. The train was being pushed in front of the engine at the time, and tho driver could not see the man on the line.
