DRAMATIC END TO DUBLIN SIEGE
SURRENDER OF INSURGENT DEFENDERS RORY O'CONNOR AMONG THE PRISONERS (UNHID FREES ASSOCIATION.—COPTISI<JI!T.> (AUSTRALIAN - NEW ZBALAMS CABtB ASSOCIATION.) (Received July 1, 11 a.m.) ; . LONDON, 30th June. The Government has received news that the Four Courts, has been blown up. It is believed that the Irregulars left mines, one of which exploded when the building took fire. The explosion shook a great part of the city. The explosion occurred at 12.30 p.m. The Republicans left the building by tunnels which had been prepared for use in case of emergency. The insurgents surrendered at 4 o'clock. Rory O'Connor, the commander of the rebels, was taken prisoner. Mr. Winston Churchill stated in the House of Commons that it was rumoured that the insurgents had asked for terms, ! but were informed that their surrender must be uncondi° | tional.
