Consent has been received by the Hospital Board to the purchase of a section adjoining the Hospital grounds from the Department of Mental Hospitals at a cost of £5062 10s, exclusive of : legal costs.
Mr. W. H. Jackson, who has been headmaster of the Mastertqn ID.H.S. for thu past thirty-four years, will.. retire from the service of the Education DcpiV'tmeut at the end o! this year.
