STRAND THEATRE.
The change of programme to-<tay at the Strand Theatre presents three features, all of a bright, cheerful nature. "Peck's Bad Boy" has already proved one of the most .successful screen offerings/presented in Wellington. Little Jackie Cooga.ii, who jumped into fame as "The Kid,'' is delightful in the name part, and a, strong cast supports the little chapr The story is full of interest as well as amusement, and the sub-titles by the famous humorist, Irvin S. Cobb, add not a little to jbhe comedy. Although the picture makes.-» strong appeal to children, it is enjoyed even more fully by adults. The secondfeature is a film version of the wfellknown musical comedy, "Oh, Boy!" with June Caprice and Creighton Hale in the principal roles. "Oh, Boy!", hag been aptly described as a breezy outburst of merriment, with sunshine, smiles, and feminine charms in the ascendant. Still another comedy picture is; on the programme, "Spooky," the almost human chimpanzee, in a hilarious story, "Ready to Serve," and> the Pathe Gazette com■pletes a delightful entertainment. Tomorrow, "Peck's Bad Boy" will be screened at 2 o'clock, and in addition, "Movie Mad,"- a Christie comedy, will be shown.
