CUBA-STREET LIGHTING
A SCHEME APPBOVED.
It was "aecided by the City Council last night that the scheme for the lighting of the footpaths in 'Cuba-street by the erection of lamps under the verandahs, proposed by the Lighting Department, and agreed to by the Te Aro Advancement Association, be approved, subject to the conditions laid down by the department. The annual cost of the scheme will be borne by the association, which will be required to enter into an agreement embodying the stipulated conditions.
