WILLING TO RESELL

DUKE OF LEINSTER'S ESTATE.

(UNITED ASSOCIATION.—COPIRISHT.)

(AUSTRALIAN - NEW ZEALAND CABLE ASSOCIATION.) LONDON, 13th June.

The solicitors acting for Sir H. Mallaby Deeley, M.P., who purchased from Lord Edward Fitzgerald a few years a-go his reversionary rights to the estate in County Kildare of the Duke of LeLnster, point out that when the Duke of Leinster died Sir Mallaby Deeley offered to resell the Kildare estate to the family, and that negotiations to that end are now proceeding.

f A few years ago Lord Edward Fitzgerald married May Etheridge, an actress, and simultaneously he sold, for a small sum, his reversionary rights to Ma- father's es.ta.tes to Sir Wallaby Deeley. At the time I^ord Edward's two elder brothers were living, and his chance of succession was of the slightest. One elder brother was killed in the war, and tne other died a few months ago. Lord Edward has thus succeeded to the title, and Sir Mallaby Deeley trt the estates, including, presumably, £1,000,COO worth of London, ground rente.)
