BYLAW CASES
A number of cases of alleged breaches of bylaws were dealt with in the Magistrate's Court yesterday afternoon by Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M. For allowing stock to wander, William Arthur Baillis was fined £1 and costs; Patrick Herbert Donoghue, 10s and costs; James Feeley (on eacli of. two charges), 40s and costs; James Love (on each of two charges), £1 and costs; John B. Mantan (on each of two charges), £1 and costs; Harry Mumme, 10s and costs; William Telford, £1 and costs. Offenders against the sanitary bylaws were fined as follow:—Marion Siffleet, 10s and costs; Maria Brockett (on each of four informations), 10s and costs; Ernest Carmen, 20s and costs. William James M'Nally was ordered to pay costs, 7s. For casting offensive matter in a public place, Robert Murphy was fined £1 and costs. Miller -and Ah earn for failing to notify change of ownership of a motor-car were fined £1 and costs. Arthur James Seed, who had left a motor-car without ahead light, was ordered to pay costs, 7a.
