SURPRISE ATTACK ON CROWN FORCES
LONDON, Bth June.
A party of Sinn Feiners attempted to make a surprise attack on soldiers at Clady. A sentry saw the Republicans crawling across a field, and gave the alarm, whereupon the Crown forces opened fire, the fusillade lasting for a quarter of an hour. The attackers, who used botabs, were driven off.
