HARDSHIP IN MINING AREAS
(Received June 9, 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, Bth June. The executive of the Miners' Federation has issued a statement that wages are so low on many of the coalfields, and employment so irregular, that the workers and their families are undergoing appalling hardships.
