AN INVESTITURE
AT GOVERNMENT HOUSE, AUCKLAND.
(BI TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.) : AUCKLAND, This Day. ■ There was an investiture at Government House on evening, when a number of recipients of war honours and decorations were invested by tho Governor-General, Lord Jelliaoe, who later held a reception in honour of the birthday "of the Sovereign. The'decorations, with the recipients, were :— C.M.G., D. A. Boxer, Hastings; 0.8. E. /Military Division), Captain M. E. W. Fitzgerald, Eltham; M.B.E. (Civil Division), Dr. F. L. Gordon, Clive, Hawkes Bay; R.R.C. (first class), Miss K. M. Hewetson, Napier; R.R.C. "(second class), Miss Ruth Gil-. mer, Hamilton;, M.C., Rev. R. S. Watson, Devonport; M.C., Squadron Sergeant-Major W. Palmer, Whangarei.
