At the Middlesex tennis championships tournament, in the semi-final of the men's doubles, Lycett and Anderson beat Barclay and Ritchie, 8-6, 6-1. In the final Lycett and Anderson beat Dousfc and Gilbert, 6-3, 6-8, 6-2, 6-4. In the semi-firtals of th,e' men's singles Gilbert beat Mushu, 6-3, 3-1, retirod; Lycett beat Barolay, 6-4, 6& In the final Lycett beat Giibeit v 6-2, - 6-2, 6-2. In the ladies' singles, Mrs. Pea-cook beat Mrs. Beamish, 6-1, 1-6,, 6-2. In the final of the ladies' doubles, Mrs. LamSert Chambers aiid Miss Ryan beat Mis. Beamish and Mrs. Peacock, 6-2, 5-1. . In v the filial of the combined .doubles,' Lycett and Miss Ryan beat; Gilbert p,nd Mrs. Peacock, 7-5, 6-1. Horn, the Cambridge captain, played a-jtre»t- against Patlfasdn/.Avhtl woa, 2-6, 6-S, ,11-9.
