HARRIERS
The Wellington iarriers held an enjoyable run on Saturday, wher they were the guests of Mr. and Mm. Carter, *>f Joland Bay! T.; Carter and J Young laid a good trail, of about five miles. The i course taken was up Severen-street on to the hills above Happy Valley, along tho ridga to .the golf links, down on to Duppa-street, across to the hills, overlooking' Haughfon! Bay, and back along the boaoh home. A go-as-you-ploase run was held, the.first four to finish being R. Morton, C. Rowberry, R. Spenco, and Ronald Watson. Afternoon tea over, the selectors announced teams who are to compete for v the Press Cup, teams' race, at Karori, next Saturday. Tho teams are: No./ 1 Team—R. Morton, R. Mowbray, T. Carter, E. Williams, R. Niool. No. 2 Team —A. Hose, R. Watson, R. vEsau, T. Farrington, C. Devereux. No. 3. Team — F. Rowberry, R. Spence, J. Young, W. Watson, A. Robertson. No. 4 Team —C. Rowberry, W. Wilkinson, W. Weston, N. Bardsley, Ronald Watson. Tho event is over a course of five miles.
