Mr. F. I€ Hunt, S.M., presided at a brief sitting of the Magistrate's Court this morning. A first-offending inebriate was dealt with- in the usual manner. C4eorgo Henry Babbage and Thomas Henry Moody were each fined £1 for drunkenness .on the Thorndon Station, and Moody was also, fined £5 for having used obscene language, and was ordered to make good the damage, a matter of 27s 6d, he did when he broke two railway carriage windows. A further charge of theft against both men will be considered next Friday. '
