The underwriters /'have received advices from London that the Norwegian barque Janna, which left Sydney on 3rd December last with a cargo of meat for European ports, has not been reported since she sailed. > '
A Press Association message from Auckland states that the Prime Minister this morning received a cable onessago from' the Prisne Minister of the Australian Commonwealth with respect to the Mamirewa, stating that in" view of the advice that some 'wreckage had been reported near the Middleton and Elizabeth Eeefs, to the north of' Lord Howe Island, the commander of the H.M.A.S. Geranium had been ordered to visit thoEe reefs, and to seach there for wreckage and any possible' survivors. .■
Mr Massey states that four New Zealanders were members of the Manure wa's crew.
