SIR KEITH SMITH

ARRIVAX IN ADELAIDE

WHY HE is" NOT "WITH BLAKE.

(DNIIBD PRESS ASSOCIATION COPTRIOHT.) (Received June 3, 9 a.m.).

ADELAIDE, This Day. Sir Keith Smith has arrived. Sir Boss's remains will reach Adelaide in a few days.

Sir Keith said he had declined to join Major Blake's round-the-world flight because the season was too far advanced. The Indian monsoons would probably interfere with it. Anyway, he would not start in any machine but a VickersVimy (the ■ type in which he and his brother, flew from England to Australia).-'

[Sir Bosh Smith's body will be buried at Adelaide on 14th June, and Lieutenant Bennett's at Melbourne on the 16th.]
