SHORTT'S THEATRE.

Rex Beach's most famous story of Alaskan life "The Silver Horde has been adapted to the photoplay as another .of the Gpldwyn special productions and. is the attraction at Shortt's Theatre at the head of the new programme. Mr. Beachiknows his Alaska and no one has ever reached him in the faithfulness of his portrayals. "The Silver Horde" is a melodramatic story woven about the salmon industry of Alaska, and the capture of these fish for the canneries, plays no small part in the picture. Like all of the Rex Beach stories as produced by' Goldwyn, there is no particular star in "The" Silver Horde," although the cast has been specially selected from the best talent. Good support? will be shown.
