THE VICE-REGALS.

The Vice-Regals are returning to Wellington, and are to open here on Wednesday, 14th June at the Grand Opera House. This of first-class comedians and musical artists have succeeded in making a name for themselves for the last two seasons in Melbourne, and during the last summer made a new record by playing at St. Kilda, Melbourne, to packed houses for five months continuously. On this occasion the management have secured the services of the extremely popular comedian, Mr. Claude Dampier, the comedian who made all New. Zealand laugh ■■when he was through here with the Red Dandies 'a few years ago. Mr. Dampier is said to be funnier than ever, and during the Melbourne season had to respond to encores to the point lof exhaustion. Mr.' Dampier is supported by Miss Hilda Attenboro, a charming actress who was- with Miss Marie Tempest in Australia. In the company are also the eccentric.comedian and lightning sketch artist, Gi P. ("Pat") Hanna; "Bobby" Pearce, the operatic baritone; Johnny Marks,' comedian; Misses Hilda' and Jessie Meadows,: accomplished : musical sketch artists'.-and' Imlladists; Wynne Mncaboy, a charming contralto;'' Clyde Fields, champion dancer and wlvstlet,; Norman ■•French.
