UP THE
INDUSTRY."
(DHITKD FHESS ASSOCIATION.—COPYRIGHT.) (Received June 2, 11 a.m.)
SYDNEY, This Day. Mr. Prattcn, speaking at Gosford, stated that the fruitgrowers and consumers were paying a big price to bolster up the sugar industry of Queensland. Everyone connected with the industry— growers, millowner3, and labour—were making fat profits. He urged that a reasonably low price should be fixed so as to absorb the fruit in making jams and canned fruit for internal consumption.
