ASSOCIATION
AOTEA LADIES' CLUB.
General satisfaction was expressed at the annual meeting of the Aotea Ladies' Football Association when the report reviewing the successes of the past year was read. At Christchurch the Wellington , girls were defeated by one goal to nil, but they were not discouraged and the trip-, in any case, was enjoyable. During the New Year week teams went to Napier and played an exhibition game in connection with the Mardi Gras carnival, and so taken were the Napier girls that they decided there and then to form a club of their own. The balance-sheet showed that the finances of the club were in a, healthy condition.
The election of officers for the ensuing year resulted as follows :—President, Mr. C. H. Bird; vice-presidents, Messrs. G. Landymore and H. B. Yeoman; hon. secretary; Miss L. Campbell (re-elected) ; assistant-secretary, Miss E. Nickless; management committee, Misses M. Clark, L. Landymore, L. Wilson, and team captains (to be elected); club captain, Miss L. Wilson; social committee, the Misses L. Wilson, F. Andrews, M. Clark, G. and L. Ijandymore, J. M'Eae, E. Nickless, and M. Rowell; club coach, H. B. Yeoman.
A special vote of thanks was accorded Miss L. Campbell .for her work as secretary during the past season.
