INTERCESSORY SERVICE
A laige number of people attended tWa citizens' weekly mtercessary service, which was held in the Concert Chamber, Town Hall, to-day from 12.30 to 1.30 p.m. The Piev. R. S. Gray presidedThe Scriptnre readings were as follow: Psalm 90, by the chairman; St. Luke 22: 66-71, 23: 1-26, 32-34, by Captain Blackburne; and Acts 3 : 12-26, by Mr. H. C. South. Prayers were offered by the Red E. Drake, Messrs. R. L. Button, and H. P. Mourant. The hymns included : "0, Worship the King," "Fight the Good Fight," "What a Friend AYe have in Jesus," "I Live for Those who IJove'Me,' 'and "Holdi The Fort." The service closed with the Benediction and the singing of the National Anthem. The next service will be held a fortnight hence.
