A meeting of the Eastowu Workshop employees to-day passed a. resolution congratulating the Post and Telegraph Association on the result of the ballot to join the Alliance of Labour, and also deprecating "the action of various chambers of commerce and other semi-public bodies who, by hysterical propaganda through the public press, are endeavouring to stampede the Government.to prevent by legislation government bj' majority in a lawfully-constituted organisation."

The Otago Labour Council has forwarded congratulations to the Post and Telegraph Association on its emphatic vote for affiliation with the Alliance of Labour. •
