DEFECTS IN ENGINE-ROOM.
(UNHID PRESS ASSOCIATION.—COPTRIGBI.) (Received April 7, 12.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. The new cruiser Adelaide, embarking on a twenty-four hours' trial, returned to port after five hours, in consequence of defects in the engine-room. Further trials have been postponed till Monday.
