LONDON, sth April. At the tnllow sales, 1262 casks were offered, and 526 were sold at par to a shilling decline. Mutton, tine, 42s per cwt; medium, 38s; beef, fine, 41s per cwt; medium, 37s Gd. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, -have received the following cablegram from their London house, under date sth April :—"Tallow: We quote present spot values for the following descriptions: Fine mutton, 42s per cwt; good beef 40s per cwt; mixed, 34s 3d per cwt; market quiet."
